Because of how it is prepared for bottling. It is never cooked, cut or processed. It is simply extracted from the hive, filtered and bottled.

The flavor, color, and feel of the honey is rich and robust. It contains all the goodness that is pure raw honey.

There is nothing in a bottle of our honey that our bees didn’t put there. All of our bees and hives are local in Western Washington and Oregon.
